Belgrave Lantern Parade

23rd June 2018

Every year Belgrave hosts the annual ‘Belgrave Lantern Parade’, this year will mark the 12th annual event for the Hill’s town. The event is symbolic and celebrates the longest night of the year…it also symbolises the move back to more sunshine, spring and warmth.

It is a FREE event for the whole family and its great to see the whole community involved...Activities start at 4:30 pm and the parade is from 5:30 pm.

The parade can be watched from the paths and roadside or if you are carrying a lantern or are illuminated in any way your most welcome to join in on the parade.
Hayes Carpark (next to the Cameo Theatre) will be full of local food vendors, campfires to keep you warm, musicians, circus performances and more!

Just one small thing to consider – please try to catch public transport to Belgrave, as Hayes carpark will be closed, parking will be VERY LIMITED…
