In 1975 Grant Skipsey's dad and a partner decided to open up a real estate office in Belgrave. Starting as a two-person band, the office grew from there. In 1978 Grant joined his father in the business. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s Grant sold many properties throughout the Dandenong Ranges and surrounding areas as slowly more people moved to the area. In 2002 the office became known as Ranges First National, with the ownership under Rik Rushton. Just before this time, Jim Conder joined the team but has recently retired. In 2004 Jan Brewster joined, and Jan and Grant continue to this day. Over the years, many people have come and gone, some starting their careers here and then moving to other locations but still continuing in real estate, and some getting into the technology side of real estate. In 2016 Mick & Meaghan Dolphin took over ownership and upgraded the office both visually and in the back end with improved systems and technology. In 2018 we opened our second office in Cockatoo. As we get closer to celebrating 50 years as an office and having sold over 7,500 properties, we continue to help serve the community by assisting families in selling, buying and renting in the local area.
